DITA has a significant place in technical writing. DITA is an XML-based, tool-independent way to create, organize, and manage content that encourages topic-based authoring, reuse, separating content from formatting, single sourcing, tool-independent authoring, and publishing content to multiple output formats. It is one of the many must-have skills for technical writers.
